Campus Expectations

Show respect to all people at all times – Showing respect is evidence of an appreciation of another’s feelings, thoughts, and rights.

Show kindness to others – Showing kindness to another is a choice. When a person shows kindness, it demonstrates an intentional act of selflessness.

Accept criticism with honor – Positive criticism and negative criticism is a part of life. We must not think of ourselves as better than others when we receive positive criticism or less than others when we receive negative criticism.

As students begin to go through adolescence, they begin to search for independence. As we know that this is a normal part of adolescence, Watson Junior High has made a commitment to work with our children to help them understand that showing respect to all people, being kind to others, and accepting criticism with honor are all facets of responsible independence.
