Support Issue #1 X-drives not available after domain login

Most students and teachers access their network drives via the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. If, after logging into the domain, your X-drive is not available, it either means that your computer is not connected to the network or that the drive has actually been mapped, but is simply not viewable in "My Computer." In the case of the latter, while in "My Computer," simply go to "View" and select "Refresh." This usually remedies the problem.

There could be a number of reasons your computer is not connecting to the network. The first thing to try is restarting. If, upon restarting, you do not have access to the Internet, check to make sure the network cable is connected to the NIC port in the back of the computer and to the wall jack. If the cable is connected properly, most computer NIC's show a green or orange blinking light near the port in the back.

If your computer isn't connecting to the network and you have restarted and checked the cable connection, contact support.
