Locate the small yellow shield on the Windows task bar. This is usually located at the bottom-right of your desktop next to the clock. Double-click on the shield to open Symantec. Sometimes the shield is unavailable. The program may also be opened by going to the Start Menu, Program Files, Symantec Client Security, and clicking on Symantec Antivirus Client.
