Emergency School-Closing Information

Emergency information on closing school will be provided through the Superintendent’s office. Students

and parents shall be notified through local media announcements. Channel 6 television will be notified to

inform the community of closing or delayed start of school. Lubbock television channels 8, 11, 13 and

Amarillo television channel 7 will also be notified in case of an emergency. You may also call the MISD
