The Muleshoe Independent School District is seeking qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies for the 2008-2009 school year:

High School Social Studies Teacher - $2,000 above base
High School English Teacher - $2,000 above base
High School Dual Credit English Teacher - $4,500 above base +$1,500 signing bonus
High School Science Teacher - $4,100 above base + $10,000 signing bonus paid over three years
Elementary Special Ed Teacher - $3,000 above base
Elementary Teacher - $2,000 above base
Jr. High Boys' Coach / Coordinator - $2,000 above base + coaching stipend
Jr. High Special Ed Teacher - $3,000 above base
Jr. High Library Aide

Note: Muleshoe ISD Special Education, Spanish, and Bilingual Education teachers receive a stipend for teaching in these shortage areas. Signing bonuses are offered to certified bilingual education teachers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
