Fine Arts Night to Shine was AWESOME!!!!!!! I would like to thank all the faculty and staff from MISD that attended the event last night. We had a multitude of students exhibiting their talents in Art, Choir, Band and One Act Play. The art displayed was amazing, the students that sang were awesome and the band ensembles were outstanding! The students drawing the caricatures were awesome as well. We finished the evening watching the One Act Play and the students did an amazing job for their first live performance. The MHS cafeteria ladies were awesome and the meal was delicious! I appreciate the custodial staff cleaning the Commons after the event. The students that served our guests were delightful as well. I had many people tell me how much they appreciated the manners the students displayed and how hard each worked. I would especially like to thank Mrs. Barber, Mr. Barber, Ms. Lopez, and Mr. Pacheco for everything each one did to make this night a success. Finally, the parents that devoted their time to attending the meetings and coming early to help organize were a true blessing last night.
