The annual Lion’s Club Peace Poster Contest. This year’s theme was “The Future of Peace.” America Pantoja (6th) won the local competition with her piece. She spent time studying and researching US Allies and our most disagreeable, most threatening enemies in world politics at the time. She created this image of the flags representing those nations, within two human figures shaking hands representing peace. Her poster was then sent off to a Regional competition where she also won first place, and was then sent to the State level of competition. We are extremely proud of her thoughtfulness and effort! Way to represent Watson Jr. High!
The Faculty & Staff of Watson Junior High School wishes “Mule Nation” a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2018!!!
