Defensive MVP- Dagen Dunham, 1st team- Beto Diaz & Jason Florez, Honorable Mention- Jesse Leal, Donovan Gutierrez, & Tre Villa

UIL One Act Play Advances

One Act Play advances to Bi-District competition. Act Play received 2nd place in the eight team district competition. Special Awards went to  Brianna Velasquez, Cody Ngo, Marilyn Melendez and Wyatt Parker.  The One Act Play will advance to Bi-District Competition on March 25, 2017 in Tulia.



Plains UIL Meet
Social studies-1st as a team. Alexandra Mojica- Social Studies - 1st, Vanessa Ramirez- Social Studies-2nd, Valentina Platas – Current Issues & Events - 7th Place and Social Studies -8th, Brady Martinez – Number Sense (Sophomores) – 1st,  Romeo Reyes – Number Sense (Juniors) – 6th place,  Vanessa Ramirez – Mathematics (Seniors) – 2nd Place, Vanessa Ramirez – Accounting – 3rd Place, Anghy Aviles – Calculator Applications – 5th Place, Colton Morrison – Editorial Writing – 8th Place

Meadow Brook Golf Tournament Resutls
Scores for tournament: Ricky Diaz 116, Brendon Rodriquez 137. Girls played today and won the tournament with a team score of 408. Emily Precure shot a personal best of 94, Sydnie shot a 104, Yvonne shot a personal best 104 and Sadie shot a 106 to round out the team scores. Leti shot a 133 and Adrianna shot a 127.

FCCLA Regional Results
The following students received gold medals at FCCLA Regionals: Sofia Sianez, Jennifer Cervantes, Anghy Avilez, and Daniella Villegas .Juan Granillo received a silver medal.

Region 1 Division 3 Powerlifting Meet Results
Individual Medals: Erika Arzola 5th, Brianna Barron 6th. Erika Arzola increased her overall totals by 35lbs.Brianna Barron increased her overall totals by 25lbs.

Cheerleading Tryouts
Cheerleading tryouts are Friday, March 10 at 9:30 am in the high school gym.

AREA 8 TACS Academic Challenge Results

Mules placed 1st in the Olton Winter Track Meet.

Powerlifters Advance to Regional Meet
Results of the Seagraves Powerlifting Meet: Individual Medals: Erika Arzola 2nd; Brianna Barron 4th.  Erika and Brianna will  advance to the 2017 Girls Region 1 Division 3 Powerlifting Meet. Regional qualifiers have to be ranked in the top 12 of their weight class to compete at regionals.

District UIL Meet is at Wayland Baptist University on Wednesday, March 22.
Muleshoe ISD the home of the 'Mighty Mules'. We are a 3A school district in the panhandle of Texas, located 30 miles east of New Mexico. Muleshoe, TX is in Bailey county and has a population of 5,158. We have about 1500 students enrolled on four campuses in the great community of Muleshoe!
