On Saturday, April 9, the Watson Jr. High Robotics team competed in the GEAR Robotics competition in Frenship. Two teams were awarded prizes for creativity! The GEAR Head Award went to the team with Eduardo Ramirez, Angel Olivas, Monse Melendez, and Jamir Valencia Llanes. They won this for creative use of available materials to implement a unique or unusual machine capability. The Best Themed Award went to Riley Clifton, Jake Villanueva, and Angel Chavez for the best reflection of the theme of the competition.
