WJHS Staff would like to invite you to the 8th Grade Walk Across, which will take place on Wednesday, May 21st, at 11:00 a.m. No balloons or air horns will be allowed. Parents, 8th graders will be dismissed after the Walk Across. If you would like to pick up your 6th- or 7th-grade student, please sign them out from the WJHS Office before 10:30 a.m. We will have early dismissal at 12:00 p.m. We hope you have a great summer!

**DeShazo Reminder**
The fifth-grade rocket launch occurs on Thursday, May 15th, at 1 pm at the City Park, on 10th St. Students with fewer than five checks and no office referrals over the past six weeks will walk to the park and watch the fifth-graders launch their rockets. A concession stand will be available for students to purchase items. Fifth-grade parents are invited to join.
