Mercy Manzanales presents about Camp RYLA at Rotary.

Congratulations to Mercy Manzanales and Marisol Flores for their success at the Lions Club District Scholarship competition this past Saturday. Mercy placed 1st in the Diabetes Awareness Essay Contest winning $1,000 in scholarship money and 1st in the Outstanding Youth Essay Contest winning $1,000 and Marisol placed 1st in the Drug Awareness Speech Contest winning $1,000 in scholarship money. Both young ladies have earned the right to advance to State Lions Club Scholarship Contest in May for a chance at even more scholarship money. We are extremely proud of these young ladies and their hard work! We wish them much luck!
